Where to begin... The control panel is outdated, confusing, and slow. Yahoo doesn't allow access to an .ht access file, so there's a big security issue right off the bat.

What's worse is that their servers also run PHP v4.3.11, so if you're planning on using Wordpress you're stuck back in the dark ages (also the buggy and insecure ages) with v2.9. Save yourself a headache and stay away from Yahoo.

Support is awful... Price is High...
Yahoo Sucks. don't waste you money. just paid for 3 months web hosting service. I moved from IPAGE to YAHOO, hoped to service professional host. but it's disaster.

They don't have a Cpanel. Support is awful. price is high. Do not allow you to instal joomla properly.

Yahoo needs to die. They have ruined so many companies since the early 90's. I have no idea why they still exist.

Terrible Company and Worst Exeperience..!
Warning if you currently have any services provided by Yahoo and you enroll in their web hosting service and decide to close your web site, they will delete any and all services you had with them regardless of wether or not they were related to the web site!

I had 1 and only 1 email address since 2001. I never had any problems with my Yahoo email so I figured Yahoo would be good to host my site.

After closing my site they shut down my email account which had all my saved emails for the past 8 years and all they can do is say sorry, they wont give me my email address back, so just in case, if you have Yahoo email Do Not Have Yahoo Host Your Site!
