HostGator is one of the most widely used dedicated servers hosting provider. HostGator offers dedicated server hosting plans for both LINUX and Windows. The following dedicated server hosting plans are offered by HostGator:

The only drawback of HostGator’s dedicated server hosting plans that the customers may not get a prompt response for their queries in the support center. But HostGator’s dedicated server hosting plans have a lot of benefits to offer to the customers:

- HostGator’s dedicated server hosting plans do not work contract basis. The servers run month to month.
- HostGator’s dedicated server hosting plans uses dual Xeon and Pentium4 processor to provide maximum level reliability.
- No network downtime.
- Provides root access.
We currently have over 1700 visitors/day....
It's about time we move on to a dedicated server or possibly a VPS. We currently have over 1700 visitors/day and things are starting to get a little slower from our Siteground semi-dedicated hosting. I've been reading great reviews on inmotion for dedicated hosting at $200/mnth for their cheapest plans.
OUR THREE PRIMARY OBJECTIVES FOR SWITCHING
- Faster processing of site
- Cron jobs running every minute (our shared allows only every 15 minutes)
- Prevent PHP Mail from going to Spam (controversial)
The reason why I say that the last one is a little controversial is because I understand that php mail going to hotmail spam partly deals with the scripting as well as the content. At this point, we've tried everything and it seems that it has to be an IP address problem. We've set up the SPF as well as the other standard which I can't remember the name of.
Anyway, point being is, from personal experience, can someone please recommend dedicated hosting that they've been using and has been working perfectly for all of the above? Also, cost is always a plus. Inmotion is a little pricey for the specs that are provided on the $200 plan, but a $20-$30 difference is marginal if the performance is really THAT much better.

Highly Recomended!!
These guys are the best. Whenever you have an issue, there's someone who can help you figure it out and they are always patient and helpful.
Their hosting packages are priced exceptionally for what you get, and I've had a total of 5 minutes of server down-time in the two years I've had an account.
But where they really stand out is that you can always talk (phone or live chat) with someone who actually speaks English (as opposed to "tech-speak" that doesn't make sense to non IT admin people, like some other companies' support.)

Inmotion has the best customer service ?
Let me first say that Inmotion has the best customer service. I purchased their pro package + domain name which they told me I could try for 90 days. I wasn’t happy with the templates that they had so I cancelled the subscription before the 90 days.
Inmotion failed to tell me that when I cancelled the subscription they were transferring me domain name to their parent company Melbourne IT and the company is located in Australia. Inmotion told me I had to contact Melbourne IT to get my domain name registry key. When I contacted the company they told me they sent the registry key to my email on file which was my company email. Which wasn’t true because I wasn’t using my company email I was using my personal email for all correspondence.
Yet all other emails from Inmotion and Melbourne keep coming to my personal email. When I contacted Melbourne they sent me a form to fill out and submit to them by mail or fax. By the way the fax number doesn’t work. Keep your domain name close and good luck if you cancel with Inmotion.
